Tiger Group offers more than 15,000 assets from seven former Pacific theaters

LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Theater owners, live event production companies and rental houses will find a huge selection of gear and equipment (over 15,000 items in all) Tiger Group liquidates the assets of seven former Pacific Theaters Locations.

Pacific Theaters operated movie theaters across United States before filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy following the Covid-19 lockdowns. Working on behalf of the secured lender, Tiger Group recently sold 99% of hundreds of assets from an initial group of closed Pacific Theaters sites.

In this latest sale, the equipment available comes from locations in Bethesda, Marylandas good as California cities of El Segundo, LaJolla, Lakewood, Northridge, santa monica and Sherman Oaks. Together, these former Pacific theaters feature a total of 94 screens.

“After a very successful auction of assets located at Los Angeles and BostonTiger’s commercial and industrial team is pleased to have been selected by the secured lender to sell the remaining nine theater assets,” said Holiday. “This number has just been reduced to seven locations after sites in Pasadena, Californiaand Chicago were bought in bulk for the reopening.
