S2 RESOURCES: OTHER HIGH-LEVEL INTERCEPTS IN AARNIVALKEA
The current program includes very large reconnaissance drilling under a 1.3 kilometer gold anomaly identified in previous shallow diamond drilling. Three intervals or sub-intervals of high grade mineralization (using a nominal gold cutoff of 1.0 g / t) were intercepted in hole FAVD0071, which include: Mineralization in hole FAVD0071 is located at 112 meters south of an intersection of 6.8 meters at 11.8 g / t gold in hole FAVD0062 and 125m north of hole FAVD0065 with intersections of 5.8 meters at 2.7g / t gold and 5.6 meters at 3.1g / t gold.
The 8.2 meters grading 3.6 g / t gold from hole FAVD0071 lies at the base of a large 48-meter zone of lower grade mineralization averaging 1.0 g / t gold. Analysis results were also received for holes FAVD0067 through FAVD0070 with better intersections listed below. No significant intersection was recorded in hole FAVD0072 located at the southern end of the target area and analyzes are awaited for hole FAVD0073.
Mineralization of Aarni ‘
open in all directions As part of a wide-spaced reconnaissance drilling, based on lines spaced approximately 100 meters apart in a direction of 1.3 kilometers, the Aarni mineralization remains free and open in all directions . A zone of higher grade mineralization is clearly emerging in and around holes FAVD0062, FAVD0065 and FAVD0071, which currently extends 200 meters and is open to the north and south. As S2’s understanding of controls on gold mineralization evolves, the higher grade zone may represent a moderately southerly dipping body. What the current deeper drilling program defines are very wide lenses of stacked gold anomalies (grade 0.2g / t to 1.0g / t gold), which in several areas has been concentrated in zones grading more than 10g / t gold.
