Ayushman Bharat diet is useful for the treatment of many serious diseases

New Delhi: The Ayushman Bharat program was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018 to help provide health benefits to millions of Indians who cannot get proper medical facilities due to lack of funds. This is why this scheme is also called “Modi Care” or “National Health Protection Scheme”. Ayushman Bharat Diwas will be celebrated in the country today i.e. April 30. The aim of the day is to increase affordable medical facilities even faster in remote areas of the country based on the socio-economic database of caste census. It is the largest healthcare system in the world run by central government.

The Ayushman Bharat program aims to provide health care to over 10 million families in India. These 10 crore households include 8 crore families in rural areas and 2.33 crore families in urban areas. Free health insurance up to Rs.5 lakh is also provided under the scheme. The Ayushman Bharat program offers more than 1,300 packages to cover treatment including special tests such as cancer surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cardiovascular surgery, neuro (brain) surgery, spine surgery , dental surgery, eye surgery and MRI and CT scans.

The regime is also identified as PM Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). Most importantly, this program is completely paperless, cashless, and computer-based. Under this, Aadhaar card is not compulsory for beneficiaries to avail the services. Under this scheme, clinical treatment, health care and medication are offered free of charge up to 3 days before and 15 days after patients are hospitalized. The benefit of this diet can be used by everyone, there is no age or gender limit of the person.
