Ashley Flamino will be Deputy Principal of Rindge Memorial, Jaffrey Grade School

June 9 – Rindge Memorial and Jaffrey Grade Schools will have a new vice principal in July, and she’s no stranger to the district.

Ashley Flamino, a Title I teacher at Jaffrey Elementary School, has worked in the district for 14 years, both as a Title I teacher and as a classroom teacher, according to a press release from the Jaffrey Cooperative School District. -Rindge announcing his appointment on Wednesday. In her new role, she succeeds Nicola Fraley, who will become the new principal of Rindge Memorial School.

“I’m excited to see education from a new perspective,” Flamino said in the press release. “A great joy I’ve had so far is talking and collaborating with colleagues. We have so much talent in elementary schools, and I look forward to supporting my colleagues, as well as our learners and their families all throughout their elementary school journey.”

Already holding a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and sociology, Flamino is set to receive a master’s degree in instructional leadership in August, the statement said. She attended the district’s first Leadership Academy, a partnership initiative between the district and Keene State College to develop instructional leadership. She has also been involved in numerous district committees and initiatives, the release notes.

“Ashley is a passionate and skilled educator who has an exciting vision for both of our elementary schools,” Superintendent Reuben Duncan said in the statement. “Her collaborative nature makes her the perfect fit for the shared assistant manager position. I look forward to seeing her grow in this new role.”
